National Vendor: Our Story

National Vendor started serving property adjusters across the United States and even into Canada in the mid 1990's. The company was created to correct the mistakes so many "replacement" services had made over the years. We wanted to be better and offer features that no one in the industry had before. We started with a simple phrase:

"SERVICE FIRST:" To bring unmatched personal service to both the adjuster and insured, while relying on cutting edge technology to create speed and efficency, which will help close claims faster.

We have listened to what the adjusters have had to say and instituted programs and policies to make National Vendor more responsive to adjusters needs. We created a single spreadsheet which allows for ACV & RCV pricing and keeps all items, regardless of desire to replace, on one sheet. We never get complaints about replacing without proper authorization as we REQUIRE WRITTEN APPROVAL from both the adjuster and insured before a replacement can take place. We developed corporate relationships with major retailers such as Circuit City, Best Buy and Sears to allow insureds to pick-up replacement items at their LOCAL store all the while savings adjusters absorbent shipping costs. And, we recently created claimstatus.net which allows adjusters 24 hour updates regarding progress on their claims.

All these things have led to tremendous growth at National Vendor. We have increased the number of claims we process every year we have been in business. This fact is simply due to National Vendor being the best way to price contents on insurance claims.
